Tomorrow is Cindy's B- day!! Yay!! I got tired of my crutches. I threw them out. My mom was like " Lladira!! You need to use them!!" and I was like " Not in the next lifetime I won't." Hehe nothing else they could say because they know that once I make up my mind they're not going to change it. I detest those things. They're a nusance. I rather wobble!! I had some pretty interesting onversations with people yesterday. lol More specifically 4 guys. Frank was accusing me of needing counciling. Ray and I talked about some pictures from camp. Daniel...lol!...that must remain unsaid. Oh and definetely tega!! I missed that boy. Turned out he was in Mexico. hehe and here I am worried sick about him because I didn't hear from hi in three weeks...hehe

Hanging out with the chicas was soo cool!! We went to eat to Taqueria el Tapatio. Good mexican food yo. Gosh we discussed so many things and just got back on track. I finally gave Kira her gift from Europe! hee. The other night Victor and I had a very good discussion on hypocrites. It's kinda funny, but we were talking about people who take advantage of their situation. Like per say, someone who is Mexican or Columbian and lie about their origins. But when it comes to an advantegous situation, they finally recognize who they are. A typical example is college. They claim to be a minority to get benefits but they never recognize that outside an application. Plus, they take the slot of someone who really needs help whether it is scholarship wise or with finicial aid. I don't know, mabey they're ashamed of who they are? But it's stupid. Also we were laughing over the people who say they "speak" another language but don't know anything besides the basics. That's not really bugs, what bugs is the fact that these people say the speak the language, for example French, but when someone who is native of that language asks them if they speak it they say "no." Or when they say they do speak it and the other person speaks to them in that language but they end up getting somone to translate for them because they don't understand. I think a person is more admiriable if they step up and say "Hey I might be bla blah blah, but I don't speak the language." Like Isaac!! I LOVE YOU ISAAC!! The boy is Mexican like me and identifies with his culture but he doesn't speak spanish although he knows a few words here and there. And he admits it. I admire that in him. At least he doesn't pretend to be someone he isn't. And he takes pride in his culture and heritage. It's just a major pet peeve I have and its something I know of few people just hate.

Geesh...party at mi casa yesterday was tyring. It was cool though cause the crew that I talked to in 2001 were the people that were here. I've been seeing them a lot this summer. And hanging with them a lot especially some some might leave like Guillermo because he's in the Marines. The thing started at 11 am and didn't end till 1:30 this morning. I just wanted some sleep because me knee began to bug me. And to answer someone's question haha, no I'm not in love... I was just thinking about the notion of love and what it means. Hehe basically I was in a soppy mood. Oh haha I forgot to mention that Juan was made to go to confession for a freakin' hilarious reason which I shall post now...

Oyy today was great!! I finally got to see my friends at school!! yay! I'm working with Gillian for Link Crew! We should have loads of fun with our freshman. One which I know because I know two of his older brothers. It was funny, Sheryl and Angeline were trying to make me give them a high five while I was on my crutches...hehe. How cool!! I think I'm getting better at balancing on one foot. On another topic I'm also posting a couple of more results for some quizzes since I'm bored to death. Tomorrow should be good. Lot's of stuff going on. Ohh, and also I'm posting my little quiz thing so any of you that have answers for an of the songs can IM me or send me an email...hehe...

Lately I've been thinking about some stuff. As I was putting together my quiz, I was going through a few songs and I found two lines that are extremely meaningful in my life... If you can traslate them then good for you. But its weird . It only relates to two people. Solo uno sabe de lo que significo en mi vida este ano pasado y el otro no. Esos son los errores mas grandes de mi vida y lo unico por lo que me arrepiento de una manera. Hey, but one has to learn from thei errors and that way makes them a stronger person, right? But then again bittersweet memories are great and good things between each of those persons has ended up in a great friendship and every memory I have of them this far always makes me smile. I'm a hudge believer of fate and I know that for some reason or another things weren't ment to be. Yup, so far I love my life. every bit of it. The challenges, the frustrations, the special moments, the joy. It all makes its up and no matter what happenes and even if I don't understand why things are the way they are or things turn out a certain way, when I look back I realize that everything happened for a reason.

These two cases, I have realized are only a hint of how much a person can actually inffluence my life. Although I've always beent the type to keep people to a distance to keep from getting hurt, I realize that I can't really control that because next thing you know bam! it's just there. When I realized that I let two of the most wonderful men (yeah I don't think 17, and 19 are boys anymore) get away, it hurt not because I let them slip, but because I never acknowledged what I felt for them even when I noticed I felt something and could have done something about it. My defense machinism was to place that thought aside. Now, I think that its been due to my sense of freedom. I don't like being tied down and I think that mabey if I commit to someone I will make them miserable. I'm not very affectionate and I don't like depending on a person or calling them 24/7. Especially if that person went to school with me. But I guess I have to wait and see when the person that balances out with me will arrive. Until then I shall live my happy life or not so happy in some occasions hehe...

I had therapy today...my leg hurts...Oyy thankies Dion for helping me out yesterday. That brightened up my day. I missed practice today. Boy does that suck!! Twirlin' had been my life for a year now and it feels so weird not to be able to do it. Grrr...I made a few changes to my blog and those of you who are constant readers of it will figure it out. A total of three changes have been made and a few more to go. I'm thinking of getting a new template and I already know what Im looking for. That's all for now, more to come later. Good news!! I didn't brake the knee!! Bad news: I jacked up the cartilage and nerve inside the damn joint. Thus I have to go to therapy...geesh that sucks!!! I can't twirl!!!! I'm on crutches!! Oh hell. And I can't go to six flags with Emil anymore! My mom was like "I care about you and I'm worrried. You need to stop being so active and I don't want you to get another injury so you can't go." And I was like NOOO!! It will be one of the last times I'd get to spend with him before he leaves!!! grr. Stupid knee joint. Oyy Cristina I can't really deliver your dip anymore because I'm crippled and Chrity too, so if you girls could pick it up that would be great. I have a knee brace on too. I have therapy three times a week now. ::sigh:: and I cut my finger today. Coming back from Covina and adjusting back to our weather has been hard because the cold weather here is making my leg ache. I'm so happy for one of my friend's because it seems he is getting emotionally involved with a really nice girl. I'm so happy for him and her cause she is cool! My friend's friend is dead....OMG...her body was found in a lake.... that's soo freakin' sad. I'm not clear on what happened but whether it was sucide, and accident, or murder, thats another young life lost...

Camp was freakin' awesome!! It started out with an early arrival at the park Thursday morning. Once we got to Covina, we checked in and began classes. Chris tought intermedeate pep flags so thats were we went. All of our ladies recieved at least one award total in the classes!! Good job laddies!! I, being cripppled and all, couldn't do much. Thus, I just twirled and skipped the footwork. Funny part was trying to get the tosses that went far!! I don't find out what's wrong with my knee till tomorrow!! Bishop is the bomb!!! I swear!! we had such a blast with all those girls!! B.O for life man!!! We also built a friendship with Narbonne so we call all three teams B.O.N B.O.N. Loren was teaching Advance tosses so we went to his class. I ended up getting my first award there. He said tha I showed a lot of determination to do what he was teaching us event hough I wasn't in very good shape to do it and he liked that. The second award was from Daniel who was also teaching an advance class. He gave it to me because he said that I tried my hardest too!! even though I couldn't do it. And he said my name!! haha I didn't know he knew who I was. That was pretty surprising. And the last one was from Loren again. He was teaching gel, gee, and me some one flag tricks to make a routine out of and stuff. I liked that. He gave one to the three of us because he said that we were eager to learn and do what he was teaching us. All the girls and I had a blast! And the Bishop girls ended up nicknaming me cripple. hehe. It was soooo freakin hot over there. I can't wait until competition season!! We're going to have soo much fun!! I think the best thing that happened though was that we got 1st place baby!!!!!!!! yeahhhh!!!! And according to one of the Sharp members we ended up with the highest score in the pep flag division!!! yeah boy!!!

Why are things so confusing? It's weird when you see things happening right in front of you yet nothing can be done. You see events happening in others lives and wonder what is missing in yours, what your doing wrong when eveything seemed to be right in place a few moments before. How complicated life can be. Getting the courage to reach new limits, to discover the unknown is quite thrilling and facinating yet for some reason you hesitate to take that step. Trying to decide what path to take, what to leave behind, and who you include in that journey. Slowly, I feel a great weight being placed against my shoulders once again...

Wow its almost been a week since I updated. Geesh. Well Ive been busy between anthropology, trig and short flags. First came hell week #1 and now we are on the second part of it. (not one but two!! hehe) And I just had enought time to do trig and study for the final. Then I had to study some more for my anthro final. And now Im getting ready to go to camp. Thanks for all the people who bought dip. I appriciate ur support. We had ablast making those and we made a delicious dip cake for angeline to celebrate her birthday which is at the end of the month but we won't see her then. She was soo happy. Yay!! We bought our outfits for camp. Its what we are going to wear throughout the year at school. Not our uniorms though. Those things are hot!! I had a blast last night. One of my firends is back from the war and he had this thing at his house. I got to see people I haven't seen since my freshman year because they graduated. That was cool. Sooo many memories. I decided to quote some stuff because it was freakin hilarious. Mostly it was funny because chuy got drunk and he was making the most hilarious comments.

Oyy me medicine makes me dizzy. We went to the fair withthe Shorties yesterday and we had lots of fun! I could't ride any rides because of the surgery thingy and I might cause it to strat bleeding again. I remeber that and that was annoying. Blah...stupid blood. Yeah so the rides might make me dizzy to and I dont need that ince my medicine makes me dizzy enough anyway. I'm tired. OO the KSG shorties have another fundraiser we are doing. For those of you who were at our friday fun thing, you might have tasted it. Its really good and its $6. Anyone that wants some can order by Im me or by sending email or even by calling or leaving a message on my tagboard. I need to know and orders are taken by tomorrow or thursday at the latest. PLease help us. Its very yummy and Im sure you'll like it. Plus we deliver :)

Im backie!!! I met my new brother this past weekend. Well he's not exactly "new." I just didn't know about him :) So anyway, He's freaking cool!! His name is Efrain and he's 25 years old. HE's gonna live with us for a while. He's from Mexico and he's looking for a better future. I hope we'll get along. He has a family and his child is a little cute boy. I have a nephew buahahaa!!! Oh yeah I forgot to mention that Sheryl is gonna have my delicious ribs, mexican style. I can't go to practice today because of the damn surgery. I didn't stop bleeding till around 9 pm at night saturday and that was annoying. Geesh who would think I could loose so much blood. I'm on this weird medicine now that tens to make me dizzy and tired. Surgery is a biznach....blah.
