Wow, where to begin? Lets see...ah yes. I shall start with a few days before Christmas. Well, Chris came over and brought me a gift! He sure did! I dedcided to leave it until christmas and be one of the last gifts to open. Later on that night, Josh came over too! And what do I know, he brought me a gift as well! I opened that one right away because Josh wanted me to. Thanks for the raindeer and the chocolates! They were very yummy. Well, I didn't eat the raindeer of course. :-D Christmas eve the house was in an uproar cooking dinner and everything. For those of you that don't know, Mexican tradition is to start partying Christmas Eve and continue on till the next day. At midnight we opened up our gifts and I was extremely happy to see that everyone liked their gifts from me. I got my brother a "Raiders" shirt because he is a complete devoted fan. I even got my dog a new necklace with gingle bells. She couldn't stop moving just to hear the bells ring. I got so many great gifts! I LOVE THE CAREBEAR SEWEATER CHRIS!!!! ::hug:: Thankies! Along with that I got:

1. $15 gift certificate from Mrs. Henchy
2. Lots of new shirts for this cold weather
3. A scarf from Leah and another one from my aunt.
4. Lots of chocolates
5. Carebear stuff
6. PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN!! Wahooo! ::drool::
7. Really nice turtle neck from my sister.
8. PJ's from my little sister.

I got some other stuff but thats all I remember right off the bat. Christmas day my siste and I left to San Bernardino where my sister is now living. I was there for three and a half days. It was great but extremely old. So cold in fact that I have a very dry cough and sore throat. 30 degree weather is no joke. Friday, Amada and I went shopping at Ontario Mills. It's so hudge! I bought some a couple of things there and I liked a store called The Black Market. Of course, it isn't the real one but they have some amazing things in there from around the world. I also liked a really awesome store that has a wide selection of dresses. That's the place where I picked out my senior ball dress. I might just my my prom dress there as well. At least I'll know no one will have my dress. Sunday, I returned home and here I am today. I had a study session with Aca Deca today. We have been studying so much this winter break it isn't even funny. Just to give other people an idea, Tuesdays we have a study session from 10 am to 4 pm and an evening session at Mr. Conte's from 5pm to 8:30 pm. So as you can see, we are determined to win. Tomorrow, I get to give my speech. I'm quite scared because my topic is still a bit weird. I know I'll be ok in front of the judges but when you give your speech to people you know, it is a completely different feeling. I can't wait for Cristina to get back. We miss her. :) I'm glad to hear that you are having a blast in Spain! Toma unas cuantas fotografias the los muchachos guapos! lol.
I like talking to Amy and Mr. Borneman when its just us. There isn't many people in the room and it isn't quite as noisy. We discussed many different issues including how our rooms are decorated. Mr. B laughed when I told him that my old bed was broken but it was completely useless after the squad had sat on it and it fell apart; thus, my parent bought me a new bedroom set. All the girls on short flags are getting sick and we still need to practice because Regionals is in approximately two weeks! Feel better soon Leah! The shorties deserve to win! They've been practicing very hard so far! I must finish my college applications! I'm almost done with my personal essay which is a good thing. Everything else is filled out. I just hope I get in somewhere decent. My birthday is coming up as well. Unfortunately for me, because of so many toher things, I won't be able to celebrate it this year like I would have hoped. The nice family dinner will be just a great anyway! Thatr eminds me, I need to look for a dress for Danielle's Debut!

IM SOOO STUBBORN!!
Capricorn
December 22 - January 19

Capricorn, the tenth Sign of the Zodiac, is all about hard work. Those born under this Sign are more than happy to put in a full day at the office, realizing that it will likely take a lot of those days to get to the top. That's no problem, since Capricorns are both ambitious and determined: they will get there. Life is one big project for these folks, and they adapt to this by adopting a businesslike approach to most everything they do. Capricorns are practical as well, taking things one step at a time and being as realistic and pragmatic as possible. The Capricorn-born are extremely dedicated to their goals, almost to the point of stubbornness. Boy, those victories sure smell sweet, though, and that thought alone will keep Capricorns going.

It's the Goat which symbolizes Capricorns, and an apt mascot it is. Goats love to climb to the top of the mountain, where the air is clear and fresh. In much the same way, Capricorns want to get to the top of their chosen field so that they can reap the benefits of success; namely fame, prestige and money. Getting to the top isn't always a walk in the park, however, so it's likely that Goats will ruffle a few feathers along the way. These folks can indeed be domineering, even egotistical, on their route to the top. They'll tell you it's part of being a leader with bright new ideas (in keeping with the Cardinal Quality assigned to this Sign). Capricorns are industrious, efficient, organized and won't make a lot of waves. They are scrupulous with details and adopt a rather conventional posture in business and in life. These folks feel best playing it safe, since this is a fail-safe way to get to the top -- eventually. Thankfully, Capricorns are patient, too, and are happy to wait for their ship to come in. The flip side to this staid behavior is that Goats can become quite unforgiving of those who aren't as diligent or ambitious as they are. Capricorns need to remember that they do need allies along the way, ambitious or otherwise. In any case, once Capricorns receive the recognition and social status they so fervently crave, it's likely that all will be forgiven.

Capricorn is ruled by the Planet Saturn. In ancient Roman mythology, Saturn was the father of many of the gods. Consider him top dog, if you will, and then you'll see a parallel to Capricorns. Those born under this Sign also want to be the top dog, and they're smart enough to know that the title won't simply be handed to them. Caps are happy to work for it, and luckily they possess enough discipline and sense of responsibility to get them there. Capricorns tend to be mature and are amply blessed with common sense, two more qualities which help their success-driven endeavors. With any kind of luck (make that considerable work), Caps will find themselves on that top step, but they should also remember those who have helped them on their quest. They are traditional (but not quite the button-down stiffs some would suggest) and somewhat inhibited, prompting others to wonder if they can ever enjoy success and its rarefied air. Rest assured, these folks will be smiling inside.

The Element associated with Capricorn is Earth. There's no surprise there! Caps aren't interested in wild ideas or round-the-world dreams. They would much rather stay put and get to work. Remember, these are the businesspeople of the Zodiac, so in their sensible and economical way, they'll get up every morning and see to it that their job is well done. While Caps can occasionally get a bit materialistic and greedy (hey, everyone needs a few perks), they are far too dignified and practical to get carried away. Plus, they love tradition and reserve and want to appear polite and friendly.

Capricorns at rest (yes, there is such a thing) enjoy leisurely sports such as golf and croquet -- so long as they have a chance to win! Playing with a crew is also nice, since it brings to mind their beloved workplace. Team colors for a Capricorn are likely to be earthy brown and khaki, much like the relaxed slacks they like to wear. Sports-bound Caps also need to watch their teeth and knees, and they shouldn't be too daring, lest they break some bones. When it comes to love, Capricorns are ever devoted and never emotive.

The great strengths of the Capricorn-born are their willingness to work hard and their determination to succeed. Their ambition is boundless, yet they are cautious, responsible and always play fair. That's why their successes are all the more sweet.

No better way to start a new begining:

I never knew my father
I never knew his pain
Or that an empty home life
Would break him down again
So when I feel like running I have to look inside
I want to find the answer
I want to break my line

Fear falls down like rain
And it makes me whole again
Fear falls like rain

Take me as I am
I'm not broken
Pieces of my life are not tokens
I want to let you know that I'm still learning
How to love again and stop hurting

I want to roll my darkness into a million suns
I need to find forgiveness when all the pain is done
I want to hear I'm sorry, I want to let you go
I have to find my own life, I want to learn to grow

Fear falls down like rain
And it makes me whole again
Fear falls like rain

Take me as I am
I'm not broken
Pieces of my life are not tokens
I want to let you know that I'm still learning
How to love again and stop hurting

It makes me whole again

Take me as I am
I'm not broken
Pieces of my life are not tokens
I want to let you know that I'm still learning
How to love again and stop hurting

It's been a while since I posted. On the good side I am dedicating all my time to shortflags and aca deca. I'm concentrating on studying right now and thats what matters. Haha Crazy thing happened to me today. There was a really cute guy in the same SAT room as me and Danielle. He kept staring at me and well I had to look. Best of all, he made direct eye contact and I love that about a person. I mean whose stupid enough not look at him. Ayway, I thought at first I was imagining things and like during the test, I kept finishing early and you have nothing better to do than stare around. Well, I cought him streching a couple of times and staring at me lol. Its funny. It's kinda rare when you just find someone you connect to without really knowing them. But anyway, I finally have my letterman's jacket. Come to think of it, today at SAT's I was looking at different school's letterman Jackets and Oxnard does have the best jacket. Pacifica has nice color combinations but they have hard leather on their sleeves which kinda gives it a tacky effect. Rio Mesa does too but I guess they must have gotten a new design because the one I saw was red and white only. The one design I like from that school has black in it too and its very nice. CI's is ok and Hueneme's is really nice as well. Tega has one of those ;) Many things have happened this week and I'd like to take some time to thank Dion for all his support. Unfortunately, Emil or Tega weren't on last night so I talked to Dion. He and I had a nice long wonderful chat and we both closed a chapter in our lives last night. It feels good to move on...
